Safety Spot Work Throughout 4B07
The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting work in your neighborhood soon. The work will include safety spot repairs to the sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and/or wheelchair ramps at:
Walnut St NW from Eastern Ave to 2nd St.
North Dakota from Rittenhouse to Sheridan
Tuckerman NE from Kansas to Sheridan
1st St NW from Van Buren to Whittier
The work is set to begin on or around Tuesday, October 24, 2023, weather permitting. It is estimated that this work will take approximately 14 days to complete. Construction is scheduled to take place Monday through Saturday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Curbside parking will be prohibited in the work zone. “Emergency No Parking” signs will be posted at least 72 hours before work is set to begin. The signs will provide details on dates, operating hours, and contact information.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained throughout construction. DDOT will provide weekly watering for one month for any new grass planted. After one month the resident will be responsible to water and maintain the grass. Thank you for your patience and understanding during the repair work. Should you have any questions or concerns, my contact information is listed below.
