Michael Cohen is the Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for Single Member District 4B07. Single Member District (SMD) 4B07 includes parts of Takoma, Lamond, and Manor Park, which are neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. 4B07 is part of Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4B, which is located in the Northeastern section of Ward 4, in Washington, D.C.
Michael was previously the Chair of ANC 4B Education and Libraries Committee in 2015 and has served as a member of the ANC 4B Recreation Committee and the ANC 4B Community Safety and Support Committee. Additionally, Michael was the former President of the Takoma-Brightwood Dog Park Organization, a DPR Park Partner and 501c3.
Michael was born in Washington, D.C. and has lived in the DC Metropolitan Area his entire life. In 2013, Michael moved from Cleveland Park to the Brightwood neighborhood then moved again to the Manor Park neighborhood where he currently resides.
